Patients can consult with a doctor on Doctall during the hours of 8am – 10pm everyday, Monday to Sunday. However, patients are able to book an appointment with a doctor of their choice at any time, 24-7.

No, you are not obligated to make yourself available for a minimum number of hours on the platform. You are free to choose those times most convenient to you when determining when to make yourself available on Doctall.

We will agree an amount per consultation directly with you that will properly reflect your experience and area of expertise.

You will be paid your full balance of consultation fees accrued for the entire previous calendar month within the first week of a new calendar month. Payment will be made directly into your nominated bank account.

Simply, make yourself available as often as possible on the platform. The more bookable timeslots patients see of yours, the more likely they are to purchase an appointment with you.

Doctall has a large Marketing division whose primary goal is to help promote all the doctors on the platform and in turn ensure that Doctall becomes the leading digital healthcare provider across Nigeria. All of our marketing activities are focussed on driving patients to the Doctall app so that our doctors are kept busy.

In addition to helping you write your professional bio which will appear on our website and our app, we can also help you to write and publish articles and blog posts on health and medical areas that interest you and are likely to be in the public interest. We can also potentially produce video content with you, should this be of interest.

You will be notified by email when a patient has booked an appointment with you, and you will also be reminded of this consultation shortly before the time. You will also be notified in-app when you are logged in. 

You can work from your home, office or any other place convenient for you, as long as it is a quiet, comfortable, professional environment that will induce a sense of calm and confidence in your patient. You will need to ensure that you have good internet connection, whether using Wi-Fi or 3G / 4G connection, wherever you are.

You will need a laptop with good quality camera and working microphone (a headphone set can be provided to you, if required). Since the consultation is meant to be conducted in a calm, quiet, professional environment where case notes can be written during and immediately after the consultation, we have prohibited doctors from using their phones and tablets. You will also require a good internet connection, whether using Wi-Fi or 3G / 4G.

You will be provided with a data enabled sim card to use for data when making your digital patient consultation calls. Doctall will ensure that there is always sufficient data preloaded for your requirements.

The Doctall platform is very simple to navigate, however, you will be provided one-to-one training until such a time you are completely comfortable and confident to commence consulting with patients.

1. 1. Send us an email (at hello@doctall.com) telling us a little about yourself, along with an up-to-date CV.
   2. We will contact you to arrange a video appointment to get to know more about one another.
   3. All being well, and if both parties wish to work together, one of Doctall’s senior doctors will agree basic remuneration terms with you.
   4. You will be provided with a Due Diligence Checklist where you will need to supply us some basic information and documentation.
   5. Upon successful completion of the Due Diligence, Doctall will formally ask the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) to verify your practising licence. (The cost of NGN 13,000 will be borne by Doctall).
   6. Whilst awaiting the MDCN’s confirmation letter, we will secure your Professional Indemnity Insurance (at no cost to you) and will arrange for your one-to-one training.
   7. Finally, our Marketing team will help you create your bio and your profile picture.
